Helpful to know: your unit prices are fixed, but your bills are based on how much gas or electricity your home uses. This means your bills might go up in winter when you're using more energy, and they'll go down in summer when you'll be using less.

The forecast is calculated using the current energy price cap methodology and is correct as of 12 February 2025. The energy price cap sets the energy unit rate and standing charge that you will pay.
2 If you choose any of the following tariffs, OVO predicts that you will pay less over the course of your contract compared to remaining on Simpler Energy, our variable tariff: 1 Year Fixed Loyalty, 1 Year Fixed, Extended Fixed, 1 Year Fixed + Boiler Cover.
This view is based on OVO's predictions for the price cap over the next 12 months and is correct as of 12 February 2025.
The further we are from the price cap announcement, the less certain our predictions are. This is because the wholesale energy market is still volatile, and costs are changing. And because Ofgem could change their methodology for calculating the price cap. As we get closer to the price cap announcement, our predictions will be more accurate.
The exact savings achieved will vary depending on your energy use. OVO reserves the right to withdraw or reprice tariff at any time.
If the price cap were to fall during your contract period, you could end up paying more on a fixed tariff than you would on your current tariff.
