EV Everywhere Terms and Conditions

1. EV Everywhere bundle - Bundle Agreement
1.1 The EV Everywhere bundle provided by OVO Energy includes:
- OVO Energy’s 2 Year Fixed Energy plan, in accordance with the terms and conditions here
- OVO Energy’s Green Electricity at no additional cost for 2 years, in accordance with the terms and conditions here
- Free bp pulse subscription for 2 years, in accordance with the terms and conditions here
1.2 Your right to the free bundle items described above is subject to the terms set out below.
1.3 OVO Energy reserves the right at any time to change these EV Everywhere bundle terms and conditions, or withdraw the EV Everywhere bundle or components of it.
2. EV Everywhere Bundle Eligibility
2.1 The EV Everywhere bundle is available only to customers who own an electric vehicle or a PHEV (plug in hybrid electric vehicle).
2.2 We reserve the right to ask for proof of ownership.This may include sending us a V5C registration document or any other form of validation that we reasonably request. We reserve the right to remove your bp pulse subscription, or cancel your Smart Charger installation if you are not able to pass the required validation.
3. Smart Charger and OLEV Eligibility
The Smart Charger option was removed from the EV Everywhere bundle on 19/03/2020. If you signed up for the EV Everywhere bundle, and selected the Smart Charger option, the following will apply:
3.1 To have a Smart Charger installed for free, you will need to qualify for an OLEV grant. The eligibility requirements are set out in clause 4 of our Smart Charger terms and conditions. We will assess your eligibility ahead of confirming your installation. If we discover you are ineligible for the OLEV grant before we install the Smart Charger, we will let you know and you can either choose the bp pulse subscription option or decide not to proceed with your switch to OVO Energy. If your switch has already completed, you will be able to switch away without being charged termination fees.
3.2 If after we have installed the Smart Charger we subsequently discover that you are ineligible because you provided us with incorrect information, we reserve the right to charge you an amount equal to the OLEV Grant, towards the cost of your Smart Charger and installation. 3.3 In order to be eligible for an Smart Charger installation, you and your property will need to satisfy the criteria set out in clause 3 and 5 of our Smart Charger terms and conditions. If, during the process of surveying your preferred install location, we discover that your property is unsuitable for a Smart Charger installation, or if additional costs are required to complete the installation, we will contact you. If you do not wish to pay any additional costs, or your property is unsuitable, we will give you the option of receiving free bp pulse subscription for 2 years, instead of a free Smart Charger. You are under no obligation to continue with your switch to OVO Energy if you do not wish to take this alternative option. If your switch has already completed, you will be able to switch away without being charged termination fees.

4. Add-ons shown on statement
4.1 If you have chosen the bp pulse subscription, this will be shown on your statement at zero cost as ‘bp pulse’.
4.2 If you have chosen the Smart Charger bundle, this will be shown on your statement at zero cost as ‘Smart Charger’ (only available if you signed up for the EV Everywhere bundle, and selected the Smart Charger option, on or before 19/03/2020).
5. Switching away from OVO
5.1 If you want to switch to a different supplier or switch to a different OVO Energy plan before your 2 Year Fixed Energy plan ends, then:
- Your plan will be terminated and termination fees may apply (see OVO Energy’s T&Cs here: https://www.ovoenergy.com/terms).
- You will lose your Green Electricity.
- If you have chosen the bp pulse subscription, you will lose your free membership to bp pulse.
- If you have chosen the Smart Charger bundle, you will need to pay £300 towards the cost of your Smart Charger.
6. Moving out of your property
6.1 If you move out of the property for which you signed up to your 2 Year Fixed Energy plan:
- Your plan will be terminated without incurring a termination fee.
- You will lose your Green Electricity.
- If you have chosen the bp pulse subscription, you will lose your free membership to bp pulse.
- If you have chosen the Smart Charger bundle, please contact us on 0330 303 5063. We may be able to provide you with a quote for removing and re-installing your Smart Charger, in accordance with clause 11.1 of your Smart Charger terms and conditions.
7. End of EV Everywhere Bundle
7.1 At the end of your 2 Year Fixed Energy plan you will have the choice to sign up for a range of our energy plans.
7.2 If you do not sign up to a new plan you will be placed onto our cheapest standard variable plan in accordance with OVO Energy’s T&Cs here: https://www.ovoenergy.com/terms, so we can ensure you are still supplied with energy to your home.
7.3 When placed onto our cheapest standard variable plan, Green Energy will become chargeable. You can opt out of Green Electricity at any time. Please see OVO Green Electricity T&Cs 16.1-16.4 here: https://www.ovoenergy.com/terms.
7.4 You will continue to own the Smart Charger when your 2 Year Fixed Energy plan finishes.
