What to do if your credit hasn’t appeared on your smart meter

A top-up can take up to 40 minutes to show on your smart meter(s). If the signal in your home is ever too low to pick up your credit, you can add it yourself. 

To do this, you’ll need the 20-digit Unique Transaction Reference Number (UTRN), also known as the “VEND” code, on your payment receipt(s).
